A Storage Solution
Made from genuine silver cloth to prevent tarnishing, these pouches can be used for taking medals to shows, or storing them in the safe deposit box or
medal cabinet. The design, size, and embroidery combinations are endless. Everyone has their own preferences. I have a number of the 8-slot two sided
pouches that fold over and latch with Velcro ready to ship in either red or blue. My husband uses these to store individual type medals, or groups and
puts them in a zip lock freezer bag with a naming card, and places them in the bank.
For the future I am thinking of using ribbon ties, much like the old fashioned tool roll-ups. I can also sew on an outer pouch that could hold a note card
with detail of what may be inside. It could say CHINA 1842, or CRIMEA or NAVAL or MARINES (red suggested) or 46TH REGIMENT - whatever
you like! My husband likes to take his very best groups, which could be single medals, court-mounted, or as worn, and request a one side 4-slot design or
a single slot for medals already mounted together. He likes the person’s name and ship (or regiment) embroidered on the outside of the fold over flap.
8-slot design, 9” long, 4 per side as shown - $25 (2 ¼” slot fits most medals very comfortably)
8-slot design, with front pocket and CHINA 1842 - $50
Double large pouch, 1 per side, 9” long - $25 (can be made to custom length)
Pair pouch with custom embroidery - $35
Embroidery in gold - $15 for up to two lines not to exceed 12 letters per line
P&P at cost, Pay Pal accepted
Custom or special design – call us to discuss, and I will quote – all depends on how much cloth is used and how intricate it gets.
