Percy Bodmin Pollard was born in the 2nd quarter of 1876. He joined the Navy in 1899, became
engineer lieutenant commander in 1911, engineer commander 1916 and retired as engineer
captain in 1926.

152 no clasp medals to this ship. His QSA is noted on the roll as being presented by the King.

In the 1881 census he is shown as a 4 yr old scholar, the son of Charles Frederick Pollard. His
father was shown as a 48 yr old head of household with a wife, 10 kids and a servant all on 340
acres in Cornwall (6 farm labourers also)In the 1901 census he is shown as being 25  and was
born in Wadebridge Cornwall. He was on board Philomel (with 209 others) moored in Lucious bay
and his marital status is single.
